Christmas Eve 2010, Sissy - the beautiful basset hound - went blind in her left eye. On January 10th, it was surgically removed approximately a week after we learned there was no chance the vision would return and that the pressure was climbing out of control. It all happened in the blink of an eye - and by the way, blinking and watering of the eye are signs there is a problem...
